About the Puja
Chandra Puja and Yajna is a sacred Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Chandra—the divine embodiment of peace, calmness, emotional balance, and lunar energy.
Chandra Puja and Chandra Graha Shanti are performed to remove the inauspicious or weakened influence of the Moon in a person’s horoscope, to dispel negative thoughts and mental instability, and to bring auspicious results and positive outcomes in life.Traditional Associations deity: lord chandra, the moon god, is revered as the embodiment of calmness, emotional strength, intuition, and nourishing lunar energy. he governs the mind, emotions, fertility, healing, and mental clarity.
symbolism: chandra dev represents cooling energy, peace, emotional balance, intuition, purity, and healing. he removes mental stress, anxiety, emotional disturbances, and instability, bringing tranquility and balance into the devotee’s life.
mantra: “om dadhi shankh tusarabhm kshirodarnav shambhavam, namami shashinam shomam shambhormukut bhushnam..” chanting this sacred mantra is believed to invoke the moon god’s blessings for peace of mind, emotional strength, harmony, and spiritual well-being.
cultural significance: chandra puja is traditionally viewed as a source of emotional nourishment, calmness, purity, intuition, and overall well-being. worshipping chandra dev is believed to remove mental obstacles, enhance positivity, improve emotional balance, and bring peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth into the devotee’s life.
Puja Procedure (as per tradition)The Chandra (Moon) Pooja generally begins with Swasti Vachan and Shanti Path, followed by the Sankalp, where the devotee takes the intention for the puja. This is followed by the recitation of the Chandra Stotram and the chanting of Chandra Mantra Japas. Offerings are then made in the homam, using ghee, milk, curd, white flowers, rice, sandalwood, and other traditional items.
During the worship of Chandra Dev, other deities are also honored, including Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, Kalash Narayana, the Navagrahas, Mahamrityunjaya Rudra, and others. All rituals are performed according to traditional Vedic procedures, including homam (fire rituals), arti, and ceremonial offerings, ensuring that the puja is carried out in a sacred and complete manner.

Puja Schedule & Video
After the completion of the puja, a 15–20 minute highlight video of the important and sacred parts of the ritual will be sent to you via email, which you can watch with devotion and reverence. Additionally, during the Sankalp, you will also hear your name and place of residence.

As prasad of the puja, you will receive the divinely worshipped yantra, sanctified moli thread, rice, and mala, which will be delivered to you via courier, bringing divine positive energy into your home or office.
