Shukra Puja and Yajna is a sacred Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Shukra (Venus)—the divine embodiment of love, beauty, harmony, wealth, creativity, material comforts, and marital bliss. Shukra Puja and Shukra Graha Shanti are performed to reduce the negative or weakened influence of Venus in a person’s horoscope, remove disharmony in relationships, financial instability, and emotional stress, while enhancing love, charm, prosperity, luxury, and overall harmony in life.When Venus (Shukra) is afflicted in the horoscope, it can create challenges in relationships, marriage, finances, luxury, comfort, and creative fields. Puja Procedure (as per tradition)
The Shukra (Venus) Puja generally begins with Swasti Vachan and Shanti Path, followed by the Sankalp, where the devotee states the intention of the puja. This is followed by the recitation of Shukra Stotram and chanting of Shukra Mantra Japa along with traditional Vishnu Puja.Offerings in the Shukra Homam include white flowers, ghee, white rice, sugar, curd, fragrance items, and other sacred materials.During the worship of Shukra Dev, other deities are also honored, including Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, Kalash Narayana, the Navagrahas, Mahamrityunjaya Rudra, lakshmi stotra , and others. All rituals follow strict, traditional Vedic procedures including homam, arti, and ceremonial offerings, ensuring the puja is performed in a sacred and complete manner.
