About the Puja

Surya Puja and Yajna is a sacred Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Surya Narayana, the divine embodiment of celestial light.
Without the grace of Surya Dev—the sustainer of creation, the giver of life, and the source of all energy—no task in the universe is considered complete.While chanting the sacred Surya mantras, devotees offer their prayers at the feet of Surya Narayana.The worship of Surya Dev illuminates the soul,

infuses the mind and body with divine energy,
and removes ignorance and obstacles from the path of life.

Through this sacred ritual, devotees seek the blessings of
brightness, balance, positivity, and spiritual growth in their lives.

Traditional Associations — Surya Puja

• Deity: Surya Narayana, the Sun God, is revered as the embodiment of light, vitality, and life. He is considered the source of all energy and the sustainer of life on Earth.
  Symbolism: Surya Dev symbolizes the source of energy, illumination, wisdom, and life-force. He is also regarded as the remover of darkness and ignorance, bringing clarity, strength, and balance to the universe and to devotees’ lives.
  Mantra: .: “Om japa kusum sankasam kashya peyam mahadyutim ,tamorim sarv papaghnam prantoshmi divakaram.” Chanting this mantra is believed to invoke the Sun God’s blessings for health, vitality, and spiritual illumination.
  Cultural Note: Surya Puja is traditionally regarded as a symbol of divine radiance, strength, clarity, and overall well-being. Worshipping Surya is believed to remove obstacles, enhance positivity, and bring health, prosperity, and spiritual growth into the life of the devotee.

Puja Procedure (as per tradition)

The Sury (sun) Pooja generally includes the following steps:

• Swasti Vachan and Shanti Path
• Sankalp (intention-taking)
• Recitation of Surya Stotram and surya Mantra Japas
• Offerings in the homam with ghee, honey, sandalwood, and other traditional items
• In the worship of Surya Dev, other deities are also honored, including Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, Kalash Narayana, the Navagrahas, Mahamrityunjaya Rudra, and others. All these rituals are performed according to traditional Vedic procedures, including homam (fire rituals), arti, and other ceremonial practices.In the worship of Surya Dev, other deities are also honored, including Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, Kalash Narayana, the Navagrahas, Mahamrityunjaya Rudra, and others. • 11,000 Japas – 3 Priests, 1 Day ( 4 hour )
• 21,000 Japas – 5 Priests, 1 Day ( 6 hour )
• 51,000 Japas – 5 Priests, 3 Days (5 hour every day)
• 1,25,000 Japas – 7 Priests, 5 Days (5 hour every day

Puja Schedule & Video

After the completion of the puja, a 15–20 minute highlight video of the important and sacred parts of the ritual will be sent to you via email, which you can watch with devotion and reverence. Additionally, during the Sankalp, you will also hear your name and place of residence.

Items in Puja Prasadam

As prasad of the puja, you will receive the divinely worshipped yantra, sanctified moli thread, rice, and mala, which will be delivered to you via courier, bringing divine positive energy into your home or office.
